    Hello.

I am looking to sell my UK based Quad Bike business and I was wondering whether anyone might be able to suggest an agent, or the best place to sell it?

The business has been succesfully trading for one year now and I wish to sell the business with 30 Quad Bikes and of course the brand name - Whirlwind.

Some pointers in the right direction would be helpful.

    Many thanks, Chris.

Great idea. What a splendid showcase for any business. Make sure you ask Big Dave. His loose change should be sufficient for a few quad bikes.

And you'll get knighted into the bargain... :D:D:D

I wouldn’t touch that one with a barge pole - just look at the rust in the vents on the brake disks :D

You could try either advertising in Exchange & Mart, yes, they do have a business for sale section, or Daltons Weekly.
You could approach a similar business in another area to see if they fancy expanding?
How about your key suppliers, they may not want to lose the current level of business?
I'm assuming that the business is relatively small, but if I'm wrong in my assumption, please pm me as I have a contact in a VC company who is always on the lookout for good, established firms. The usual criteria however, is that they should be making in excess of £1m pre-tax a year.
