I'm was getting the O2 ODB codes for both sides, no CEL lights.
I cleaned the connectors on both.
A quick drive later, both CELs come on in unison for 15secs, then go out for a while, then come back on in unison then go off, the whole 5 mile ride.
Clearly it has to do with my disturbing the connections.
So I cleaned them again. the connectors & wires look OK. No cracks. Next test tomorrow.

I've read a lot of the threads and am thoroughly confused with the mis-information.
I'm thinking about buying one new O2 for diagnostics, but several threads say it doesn't matter and others say it does and they have to work 180 degrees to each other. Replace one or both as a pair? What's the Bosch # for a '95? The connector end doesn't say.

Several posts say most web sites list the same part# for 95 vs 96-99 and they aren't the same part #. And the sites do have the same #. Which is correct?

Second, do I bother cleaning the sensor end of the sensor?

after messing with the connections, should I disconnect the power & then let the engine relearn the readings?

    Thanks in advance

After 6000+ posts and you have not heard of Gold Kit?

Whether you want to spring for that or not is your decision. But, if you are going to change the sensors, then change them both (they are cheap). Do not attempt to clean the sensor ends of the old ones, it does not help.

I recently changed the O2 sensors in my 348 and it did wonders for the car. I puchased the Walker O2 sensors and they simply plugged in. The car idles, runs and responds ALOT better.

Do them both, it will take less than an hour (at least it did in the 348) and let the computer "re-learn". It should be well worth the effort.

    Good luck.

Swap out all the 02 sensors...
its cheap, takes 10 minutes and will make the car transform

    O2 Sensors on order.

    '95 O2=#158730 superceding 155010. Bosch# 13309
    Bosch universal#=15727

But found the problem. On each sensor, 1/2 of one of the male connectors bent & didn't sit right when connected. I'll have to straighten them out. These may have been tinkered with before.

Found a good link on the sensors here

don't rush to the connectors. I was having CEL lights and the dealer assured me that I didn't need the gold connectors.
My car has always been pamperd, in very little rainy weather therefore my factory connectors are fine.

In my case, I needed two new Cat. ECU's. problem solved.

However if a car is in the "weather" a lot connectors may be corroded.
