    Help please
    My CEL is on on my 03 360 so I tried the standard fuel cap tighten etc to no avail.
    The OBD scaner reads 2 codes P0571 brake switch A circuit malfunction and P1569 manufacturer controlled vehicle speed idle and auxilary inputs.

    Any light shed on what these mean would be a great help.

    According to my notes, P1569 is brake switch info, bank 2.

    Check your brake switch.

    100% certain it is the brake light swith at the pedal. It's about $20.00.

    What scanner are you guys using for reading OBD codes on the 360?

    Thanks for the quick reply
    I have ordered a new brake switch and will post the results. Although I do have brake lights it is a cheap trial and the switch might be lighting the lights but not sending a signal to the ECU. I have seen this on CNC machines before.
    I was not aware that the CEL was linked to anything not related to emissions but you live and learn.

    PS if this is not the fix I might be asking if anyone has the wiring schematic for the brake circuit
