I have gotten a check engine light on my 355. BOth times it was in stop and go conditions. Both times it was P0116 Engine coolant temp out of range,
The car was at normal temp with the water temp just ove 190 and the oil temp a little over the half way mark on the gauge. Both fans working OK coolant level OK. Ant ideas?

My best guess from my 550 experience would be the engine coolant sensor has gone, overstressed by the heat.
But I am sure the 355 experts will be helping you soon...

The OBD does not monitor the guage sender, just the NTC temp sensor. This is a common failure on Diablos, and an easy replacement part.
