First and foremost: the HyperTough HT300 OBD2 scan tool works with the F355 OBD2 port so long as you have had the recall done (which apparently mine did.). It was less than $40. I also ordered some Bluetooth ones but wanted to try and use one of my few free days to diagnose my CEL a bit. The car runs great but the light was making me nervous.

    It threw these codes: P1445, P0153, P0159 P1448, P0410. I am not a mechanic, and I’m a good hour+ from a dealer.

Here are the pics of the HT300 in action, any help regarding the codes and or parts from the 355 part thread that are less expensive than going to the dealer would be super appreciated.

    Thanks!

    P1445 "Catalyst Temperature" (RH bank):
    Range/performance (plausibility/minimum/maximum)
    Check wiring
    Check thermocouple ECU
    Check thermocouple

    P1448 "Catalyst Bypass Circuit".
    Malfunction (signal minimum or maximum)
    Check wiring
    Check the valve
    Check vacuum leakage
    Check operation (of flap?)

Please remind us again what you have had done to the car (and what you have already done to diagnose the issue), so we can start afresh.

I don't think I've seen so many problem before  The two above may or may not be caused by the Thermocouple ECU plugs being accidentally swapped over. Check wiring (routing) to thermocouple to confirm what each Thermocouple ECU behind the RH wheel well is connected to, then check the wire colours on the Thermocoule ECU plugs. If you can't see the colours clearly, you'll have to carry out continuity checks between the Thermocouple ECUs and the Motronic ECU.

Regarding the other stuff, maybe you have a vacuum leak or secondary valve or check valve issue?

Seriously. A little more than "here are some codes" is needed here. Obvious stuff.
