How come when I turned on practice yesterday, Hamilton's girlfriend celebutante is leaning over him talking to him for a while in the cockpit while he's preparing to take to the track? WTF?? All jokes aside, since when does a non-essential chunk of arm candy get to breach the operational perimeter, especially when a team is trying to extract its collective head out of its rear? I would think the team manager would be screaming into Hammy's helmet to get her the hell out the way.

No kidding. All I thought about was 'lack of institutional control'. I'm sure Hammy and his dad pull far too much sway in the house of McLaren now that Ronny is off needlepointing.

Or preparing for a run at the head crazy guy position [Forget who mentioned him as a possible - Not my choice, but if they could agree.......]

Anyway, in fairness, it was the old man who dragged her off..... :D

What *either* of 'em are doing there is another debate of course - OK, Dad's also his manager, but I don't seem to remember Willie appearing too often....

    19th! Very cool!

    Cheers,
    Ian

I saw that also, and the look on Anthony's face was priceless - dad appeared not at all pleased with the scene - he should have jerked her by her hair - I think she is very bad for the scene and is much of the problem with Lewis and his driving. IMO she is out for her own personal gain at the expense of others. They showed her during qualifying today and she looked like someone who works the street. Just my opinion from a female perspective.

Now Vettel has fantastic taste with his girlfriend. She appears to be a real person! I've met several other halves in the racing world and these gals are genuine and very likeable to which I applaud them.

If Hammy doesn't win another race, she'll be gone from his car soon enough...

...however Jensen better watch his arse for any stray *****cat dolls.

If I was Whitmarsh, I'd tell team Hamilton and the leech that if she doesn't slap a P-Cat dolls logo on the side of the car soon, she needs to stand in the back of the garage like all the other useless bimbos.

When it no longer matters - this year is shot for McLaren. Apparently Ron Dennis' departure has left a void in discipline. I can say the same for Ferrari for that matter too. The strategy in qualifying this year is an excellent example. No wonder Todt ate the tips of his fingers so badly. ;)

Breach the operational perimeter ? LOL The more girls inside the "operational perimeter" the better I say ! Could add some excitement to this sport that is going to hell in a bucket.

Lets see qualifying second to last way behind his team mate for a start. Car is **** yes, but so is Alonso's and Frenzten's ...

Seems like a "when the chips are down, I'll make it worse by sulking character" ... hardly what McLaren need to get them out of their current mess. Jensen Button never appeared to just give up ...

I suggest you turn of the boring F1 show and go to your local. Yes F1 is beyond recovery IMO ... happens when you think money, money and only money.

I don't think Hamilton is making any new friends at McLaren today. Apparently, he did some kind of "victory" doughnut after the race. His mechanics were trying to save abuse of the engine and got upset with him. He said he did it for the fans who supported him but you have to wonder if it was just a bit of showing off to get attention for his worse race of the year....

I was joking, put your mind in the gutter, had nothing to do with racing. I was hoping for something like, his boyfriend gets more "effort" from him. :)

Anybody catch(sure you did:) ) the quickie shot of Hammy's girl friend w/shocked expression when he went on an off road expedition briefly during the race?

Gotta hand it to those F1 cameraMEN; they may miss racing goodies right and left, but
they sure know their audience and give 'em what they want :)

Nice little 'racing' outfit she barely had on today

One thing I did notice was that for much of the early race, the cameras were following Hamilton's car far more than necessary. He was near the back, and staying there. It was nowhere NEAR the level that the cameras follow Danica while she's losing another Indy race, but it was still bad.

I think his girlfriend is very cute. :D And for those that say she'd leave if he keeps losing, I wouldn't count on that for 2 reasons:

    1. He's still loaded and will be MEGA loaded after a few more years in F1.
    2. Her career has a very short shelf life, probably almost done.

So methinks she'll stay as long as Lewis will have her.
