Ferrari : only the name, only the spelling, only the prononciation. Only that is already sufficient.

Obsessed ?? No my friend, you are normal :D

A fellow Fcar owner near me has his car in the bedroom and has hundreds of models and flags around his house, only wears Ferrari gear (that I have seen) and has a beautiful wife who lets him do these things.

I got into trouble because I wanted to have the Ferrari logo on the bottom of the swimming poll :(

I still have models all over the house and the boy (9) can recognise most model Ferraris on our outings..

I think obsession is having more than 10 pairs of shoes!!

Ok, so I've been obsessed at times w/ my RX7, 240z, & Miata before I bought my Ferrari. I’m still obsessed w/ the Miata & recently had a supercharger installed. Perhaps a 12-step program is in order. Ok, commit me already.

I second everything Annaloro said. It is an obsession, and now that I have found this F-Chat I know its perfectly all right. I think we are the sane ones; It's those people who look at a Ferrari the same way they look at a Minivan or a Toaster that have mental problems.

Ask her if she'd rather you were surfing the 'net for Ferraris or for porn? ;)
(No, honey, I was looking at the car, not the girl draped over it.) :D

Just remember, once in a while, to tell her that she looks as good as a P3. ;)

When you find one that can do a major on your Ferrari, ... that's a keeper. :D

Step 1 Admit we were powerless over our obsession with Ferrari and that our lives are unmanageable until we have a Ferrari in the garage

Step 2 We believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity otherwards Ferrari Power.

Step 3 Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the obsession of colecting as many thing as possible that say Ferrari on them.

Step 4 Made a searching and fearless inventory of house and garage to see how much more room there is for Ferrari collectables.

Step 5 Admit to ourselves and other human beings the exact nature of why we will go to the ends of the earth to find that "perfect Ferrari".

Step 6 We’re entirely ready to admit that we do not have any character flaws, it is in the blood, that passion for anything that has the following letters in it: Ferrari.

Step 7 Humbly ask the wife to build a bigger garage to house more Ferrari cars.

Step 8 Made a list of all Ferrari cars we had harmed and became willing to make repairs to them all.

Step 9 Made direct repairs to such cars except when to do so would injure other Ferrari's parked nearby.

Step 10 Continued to take personal Ferrari inventory and when we were low on Ferrai items, promptly admitted it and then go out and immediately buy more.

Step 11 Sort through, all of our Ferrari collection, improve our conscious awareness of everything Ferrari, and upgrade as necessary.

Step 12 Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of this step. We now carry this message to those that still suffer without a Ferrari in the home. Red is good.

Everytime I see an F car, be it real or a picture I stop... it takes a lot to get me moving again... like another F car somewhere else. Hell I am about to get a personalized plate that says TIFOSI for my Honda. Hi I am Sean and I am a Ferrariholic.

My wife said she wanted to talk last night. Apparently she saw a show on net porn and thinks f-chat is a similar disorder. Took her to this thread which apparently didn't help. My only defence is its not another woman.

Biggest problem for me is its winter in CT and boxer has to go into hibernation.
But then again f-chat not to blame, I bought the car long before a house and built a house whre i could keep and use the car.

I think ferrari obsession is good for ambition, after all these things arent cheap and you really really need that extra money. Lately I need a bigger garage and a f430, and since kids and bills come first one just works harder and smarter. If its an addiction its one that can only lead to drive to acheive
so that you can attain greater heights of driving nirvana, in other words not destructive at all

I'm on the 20 cylinder program now. Will probably move on to the 28 version next year...
