Hey guys, I have put together an enormous car show for october 9th at our banquet. I have also set up a cruise before hand all the way over there. The bar will be open for anyone 21+ to buy drinks. Car show location: Millenium Banquets 8025 S Cass Ave Darien, Illinois http://www.milleniumbanquets.com/ The show will start at roughly 2, and the cruise will hopefully arrive close to that time. Of course people that aren't joining the cruise will be waiting for us there. The pre-meet/cruise location: Chili's Rosemont Mannheim/Touhy Please if you're attending the cruise be there for sure by 1:15 because we will need to leave no later than 1:30 to make it to the show on time. We already have 100+ car showing. Let me know asap if you're planning on attending. Look forward to seeing some Ferraris there. BTW spread the word to any friends with nice cars.

Then you came on the board and said, "I have an enormous car show set for Oct 9th at our banquet." --Whose banquet are you referring to?? Then you said you had 100 cars showing but had NO mention of entry fees, prizes, etc. --What are they?? Are there multiple classes?? What types of cars will be there?? Then your name.....InSaNeZ. Interesting name. --This board is full of a lot of guys with a lot to lose. No one wants to just show up to some "event" that is sketchy on the details. Not saying anyone is going to get taken for anything at your show, but still.... You are a poster who no one knows, leave vague direction about a show you are putting on, and then have a name with "Insane" in it. I go to a ton of Import shows as my buddy is big in the import scene so I would guess that..... A. This show is mainly an import show. That would be my guess. B. You have a Z Car?? Possibly a 350Z that is "insane" (i.e. tuned to the max) So, how about some more details about this show....
My family owns the banquet. Yes, InSaNeZ refers to the 350Z, I try to keep my name the same on all forums. There is no entry fee or any of that. Consider it a end of the year car show/meet. It'll mostly be euros which includes BMWs, Mercedes, Audis, VWs, Porsches As a matter of fact BMW of Westmont is helping me promote the show. As for imports it includes the NSX, 350Zs, G35s, Supras, 300ZXs, Mazda RX-7 & 8, Evolution and WRX STi
More info: The restaurant menu for the day will be as follows: Cheeseburger, hamburger, chicken breast, italian sausage, and skirt steak sandwich. Also when I say imports I don't refer to civics, integras...etc The imports that are invited are only higher end performance cars in the import scene like the Supras, 350Zs, G35s, NSX and so forth. The majority of the cars there will be BMWs hands down. It'll be mostly euro dominated. Ricers? No worries, we don't like to deal with them so a) they're not invited(although all japanese imports are considered rice burners-->point taken) and b) if they do show up they can park far away or if they start acting like idiots our friendly Darien police would be more than happy to remove them from our premises. 1 week left! Also, this is the first show put together at our family business. So next year we'll start having the various classes and trophy distributions to the winners of each class. This is more like a kickoff event before everyone puts their cars away for the winter with food, bar (21+) to have a drink or two and just have a good time. -Dino-
