OK, My car is running great but won't rev past 6K in any gear (feels very much like rev limiter is preventing it) but yet there are no engine lights on. The only lights that are on and have been on for a while is the brake and ABS which I believe is a sensor. Any thoughts? -Michael
It sounds like you have a misfire. I would check a a few things. Check the connection for the mass airflow sensors. Make sure they are clean and connected properly. Check the condition of your spark plug wires. Look to see if there is a hole brunt through any of them. Check the connections for the crank possition sensors. Those need to be clean and connect properly. You will also want to look under the rubber boot on the back of the connector to make sure you don't have any broken wires.
