Odd Noise at startup..any ideas?

    Recently had test pipes put on my car and love the sound. Didn't notice at first but it seems now that my car has a sound of air pumping out of the exhaust or somewhere at startup and last for about 2 or 3 minutes. Doesn't sound like an exhaust leak but again air pumping out of a pump somehow. Sound reminds me of how a VW bug sounds at idle but goes away shortly after startup.

    Is this any thing with the air injection system or does it have to do with the test pipes?

    What year is your 308? Does it have one or two cats?

    '80 308 2 cats. A device was taken off along with the cats that had two metal tubes. This noise wasn't present until a week or so after cats removed.

    Does go away well before car heats up but i feel like i'm in a VW Bettle for a few minutes. The sound is rythmic and goes with the engine but sounds like maybe air brakes releasing.
