    Hi all,

I have an odd running issue with the car. Once its warmed up and after the fans have kicked in for a short while I lose power on bank 7 to 12.

    I've checked the following.
    • Red wire at coolant Y pipe sensor and its at 12V, I also have 12V inside the black box with the protection relay.
    • I have 300 ohms on both pins of the 2 channel thermistor.
    • I have spark to the distributor and to all plugs. I've checked all leads and they are within the resistance tolerances.
    • I have swapped the coils and modules. Same thing happens on bank 7 to 12.
    • I have tested the Lambda on this bank and when its running normally its wandering at 0.8v. When its running badly I get 1.5v. Measurements are taken with the single wire plugged in. However when its running badly and I unplug this lambda and it goes into open loop mode. The car then starts trying to run on bank 7 to 12. But its still at 1.4v. My Innovative Motorsport AFR exhaust meter confirms the same measurements.
    • If I remove the fuel pump relay and jump directly to the pump nothing changes. (was thinking as I had an issue with the connections for the pumps at the fuse panel this could be the issue however its not)
    • I have checked fuel pressure and its fine. It stays well in spec when its running well and running badly.
    • I've checked the 9 pin connector going to the black box the terminals are all fine.
    • I've checked the black 4 pin connector under the coolant tank. Its also ok with good continuity.
    • The 9 pin white connector under the coolant tank has already had some wires repaired as there was corrosion in the 12v red and the grey tempreture sender wire which goes to the tempreture gauge in the dash. But there is no other issues I can see with any other wires.
I'm thinking there is something that controls the fuelling and once its around operating tempreture (85 degC) its faulty and/or I have a broken wire going to something which I have not yet found.

I'm using the car several days of the week which is more than its had in years so I was expecting some gremlins even after doing a lot of work on it over the summer.

Any advice on where else to look would be much appreciated.
    Thanks, Craig

Its safe to say that after checking over the fuse panel again I'm narrowing in on the problem. This fuse wasn't like this 2 days ago when I checked the fuse panel. The fuse has not blown just melted. Its one of the fuses for the fuel pumps.

When I opened my panel I was surprised to find the fans and pumps wires are already hard wired to the panel. They were passing through the underside of the white connectors which until I took it all apart I could not see.

I've also found these relays behind the panel.

There is a 3amp fuse (which was blown) also in there. No idea what its for as I cannot find it in a list of fuses or manual.

Just to follow up and close this. Today I bypassed the fuse box for the fans and fuel pumps and the car runs perfect again.

I've already confirmed with Guido that I'll be taking one of his panels once they are available. Also my cold start system is now working fine.

Thanks to everyone for all the help over the last few months especially Steve Magnussun!
