    My wife is looking for an electric skillet with a broiler element in the lid. Very old school? Our web searches haven't turned up any results so far so I'm turning to the font of all knowledge FChat brotherhood.

    Any suggestions?

    Sometime we stay in efficiencies when traveling. She is looking for something besides the "standard equipment" microwave to cook with if we decide to eat in or want more than a cold breakfast.

    The closest you can come to that is a clamshell electric grill like a George Forman model.

    Thanks for that. The "design" aspect is cool. Good looking objects, which of course is in the eye of the beholder, has life be better.
