Just took my car out for the first time this season....Damn, that first drive after winter is just so very special! Even in crappy traffic on the 407, it was a thrill just to row through the gears (even if it was just the first 4, LOL!)

Had the Tubi X-pipe installed with performance filters to go along with the pre-existing tubi exhaust,...OMG! The sound!!!...the glorious SOUND!!! ....it is remarkably Enzo like, just what I was looking for (and, at $700,000 off!!). As well, the increase in HP and TQ can definately be felt...down low and from a standstill the car was unreal! Also had Porterfield brakes installed so those bastards don't squeal anymore (always an embarresment, as far as I was concerned...)

My compliments to Sergio at F.o_O for an excellent job.....

SPRINGTIME IS HERE.......AND IT'S ABOUT G-D DAMN TIME!!!!!!!!

I think I might just do that next time I take her out.

It's especially nice when you start her up...it's the old "WAKE UP!!" snarl....

    Sounds great Steve,

I actually for the first time took the car cover(s) off to access the battery. I shall be doing the firing up tomorrow afternoon.

I went to see tommy boy yesterday and told him to expect my little freind in for its spring cleaning.

I look forward to my first drive of 2006 to Toms shop next week.

Its nice to see spring arrive abit early for a change.

Glad the car is up to you're expectation Steve, can't wait to see the brakes, and hear the 12 now that its liberated.

Thx Rick, glad to hear your beast is getting ready soon!

I should have stated brake pads instead of brakes...the stock pads squealed horribly and I was told this is normal ?!?
From numerous 550 discussion posts on this board, I heard that the Porterfield Pads were leagues better, and dusted less as well!
Same stopping power, as far as I can tell, but of course, I barely tested them now that they are new. Absolutely silent now, cold or hot, ..it's about time! Nothing more embaressing than pulling up in a Ferrari and having some kids in their Honda snickering as your brakes squeal like a garbage truck!!

Wait until you hear the sound tho', bro.... I predict me and you are gonna scare alot of wildlife on our next run...Can't wait!!

Sounds great Steve, nothing like a great exhaust note to go along with the looks. I had my "cute" car out on Wednesday and it was a blast! Why don't we get together with Rick and scare even more squirles.

I can attest to the awesome sound of Steve's car. It had a really nice rumble when he started it up, and then as he pulled out onto steeles, it sounded amazing! Wish I had taken a little video of that...

First, it's not called homework. I graduated from kiddy school remember? :)

And yea, after yesterday I've been free of assignments/essays until exams in 4 weeks. It's nice to stretch the legs this weekend and relax a bit.

PS. we're hi-jacking this thread - you corrupt cop...

    Uhmmmm???......Car crazy Alaskans??

    It's a plan......Squirrels beware!!!

Even better...now those squirrels are really gonna freakin loose their nuts!!!

At least I require a Ferrari to bring a stupid grin to my face...as opposed to the one that naturally resides on yours.... :p

Thx dude!,..it's always hard to tell what the car sounds like from the inside.
However, not to quibble over minutia, I thought it sounded more "snarly" than "rumbly" to me... ;)

Sounds good to me!....would love to have a before and after sound file for comparision purposes.

Thx dude, look forward to another run or get together soon!

Louder than before?!?...that CS already sounded evil! It stole the "auditory show" last time we all went for a boot (although, that silver 360 with the modded exhaust certainly came a very close second...) :)
