Where can i buy Enzo key? I am not interested in this expansive uncut one. I am ready to buy cut key and change it as described here. I already have new key cut for my car and ready to switch (Fiat uncut key :) ). I checked ferraristore, its not available now, they said it will be again but dont know when.... They dont even have Scaglietty key today, which was still available last week. I see here that Wynn L.A. sell it but did not find any contact. Thanks in advance. I would prefer Europe but i appreciate any info....

You have long discussion about this seller in this thread. This seller is reliable, only too expansive at least to my taste.....600 usd for key - NOT me. I bought cut key for 148 eur , made copy of key for 4 eur (using Fiat uncut key) and will just switch it as described here....

I've made a few remarks about Jimmy540i on this forum. Well, I bought 3 keys from him, just purchased another over the weekend.

Authentic keys! Reliable Seller! Decent guy! That's all I can say.

This one is for you Jimmy! Good luck with the sale with the rest of your keys.

Just a note to say that I followed the instructions in this thread, starting with a Ferrari Store "cut" key and an hour later it is all done (except the epoxy dry time).

    1. Take the top off the Ferrari Store key using a small screwdriver with the blade covered with tape, prying open from the little slot.
    2. Use Dremel tool to remove a small amount of plastic to expose the "cut" key.
    3. Wiggle the key (I held in a vise) until it comes out. It will.
    4. Take your Ferrari key to a locksmith and have a new one cut for your vehicle. The correct key blank is by Ilco, model FT146, marked "Fiat" (sorry).
    5. Use Dremel tool to shape the new key to the same shape as the one you removed (sort of an "L").
    6. Insert the new key by wiggling it in place, and when it is straight, use a little bit of epoxy to hold in place. I added two nickles to add a little weight in the key.
    7. After the epoxy is try, pop on the cover and drive the vehicle. This is worth at least 25hp.

Can I reiterate that after many PM's, that I do NOT have the Enzo keys, I can only get hold of a few red fob covers.

For those who don't want to go through with disassembly and such, I've still got a few uncut Enzo / Stradale keys left if anyone's interested. They are most certainly genuine (pamphlet included, holograms on the boxes, etc.)

I went to my local locksmith to pick up this blank.... He search the computer, then out came the 'big' book and more searching. He could not find any listing for the FT146 blank. He did find FT46. I took this blank home to test in the car... it fit! I will get it cut today and I should be getting the Enzo cut key tomorrow. Let the mod begin. This is a very cool upgrade!!!!!!!

Many thanks to all who thought this up and The Forum making this available.

    Three Cheers!!!!!!!

I got the Enzo cut key and my new cut Fiat key. Removing the old key took a little careful effot, but it came out. Some work with a hacksaw and a few metal files got the shape of the hook. I used a very small screwdriver to spread some Devcon 5 minute expoy in and around the recess for the key and on the hook of the new key. Holding the new key firmly in the vice, I was able to insert the new key and wipe away any excess epoxy. For body weight, I wound a flat disk of 1/8" dia solid 50/50 solder. Two disks fitted and more epoxy completed the job. Snapped the cover back on and I am done. I like the little extra weight over using coins. Total time - about an hour, finished result - priceless.

    Many Thanks to this Forum!!!!!

    George,

How about posting a pic of the finished product?

I'm thinking of doing the same thing and wanted to see another example of the finished product.

    Thanks.

Ok, here is a pix as requested... sorry that it is not as sharp as it should be.

As you can see, the original key is really beat up. You can see the hook on the key that I removed from the Enzo plastic.

    Try this link: http://www.jimmy540i.com/enzokey.html

My 3rd key from this guy and no complaints (2 for my 360 and 1 for my brother-in-law's 550M) . Real un-cut Enzo keys.
