I just bought this one of eBay from caballo.trade to suit my 360, got my local locksmith to cut and it works perfectly!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you are down to your red FOB you have some other things to worry about other than how nice your key looks! Love the key BTW, looks great!
Yes it is only a sticker but much better than the scratched keys ... What is wrong with using the red fob? I have the two black spares as well
Once the set of fobs are programmed to the car the red is no different than a black. It has no special ability. Just different color plastics.
Have any of you guys seen these? It makes a lot of sense to have something this size to fit in your madras pocket, looks nice to me....and the price is easy to swallow. Blank Key for Ferrari 348 F355 360 (inc CS) Testarossa 512TR (M) 456 550 575 (M) | eBay Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think this is right but the convention is to leave the red as virgin as possible so that you know it is something other than the FOB when you are experiencing alarm issues. There is probably a cover that you could use over the black ones that is red and would look very nice. Store your red without batteries and in a safe place is how I do it.
My point is that it is a convention based on an urban legend that the red is "the master" and is therefore somehow endowed with some special ability. If you want to store one and keep it virgin that is all good. Yes, there are covers. You can purchase new red plastic cases in FerrariAds or leather covers from a number of sources.
