I wouldn't either, anymore than I would have labelled Schumacher the next Senna. What I will do is predict that Hamilton will emerge as the next great dominant driver of his generation. He doesn't quite have the measure of Alonso yet but in 3 or 4 season's time, he may be untouchable.
In your dreams... and Lewis has the career record to prove it As he said it's not a lottery. This whole article is bogus in my opinion Massa's from a wealthy family that supported him through out is career. Lewis comes from a modest back ground at best. McLaren raised Lewis in racing he knows a F1 better than most vet drivers out there and it shows. He does his home work and studies with the engineers, the engine builders, and the pit crew. That is why he is always sure to thank them for his success. If you expect to see him fail you will be greatly disappointed. Just take a look at his career at the lower Formulas and all you will see is champion, champion, champion. When I look at massa I don't think of Shumi just an average driver doing his best to win. You look at Lewis and you can't help but see enromous potential. He's a rookie that is leading the championship after four race. and out of the top four title contenders he the driver who hasn't made any real mistakes is the most constant and has made passes for postions 3 out of 4 races. BTW hes the only driver that hasn't been pass as well.
either Ron really believes that or he's just winding everyone up... or maybe both...in that case, err, nevermind...
