I'm in the will own a Ferrari camp. I'm planning on buying a 550/575 after I finish college and law school. I'm here for the motivation, lol. Seeing a pic of the car you really want almost every day helps a lot.

 

As someone who waited around 30 years to finally pull the trigger (and am I ever glad that I did!), I salute those in the "will own a Ferrari" category. Keep the dream alive and it should come true. (Just don't plan to necessarily buy a new Ferrari. At no time in my life have I even come close to being able to do that. But, as I found, there are plenty of good pre-owned Ferraris. They may not be the latest or the fastest, but they all still have that cavallino in the middle of the steering wheel!)

 

Figuring out the % of posters who own a Ferrari this way is not really valid as you have no way of knowing if one group is more likely to vote than another.

still saving for my F40! I kind of kick myself sometimes for not pulling the trigger a few years ago when I could have. At least I have a house I am underwater in though, lol!

 

Exactly! Actually, I would be curious to see how many Ferraris people own: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4+ ? Wonder how big a disease is lingering under the surface

 

Good point. Last year I was a lurker, but would have been in the, "will own" category. This year I bought the 456M, so I'm now an owner.

Thing is, just as soon as I got the 456 - I mean, like the second time I took it out - I realized that one Ferrari would definitely not be enough, so I'm now shopping for a 360.

Perhaps next year you can set the poll up to reflect multiple Ferrari owners, because I'm betting that when the bug bites, it bites hard.
