    Ruiz v Golota, Ruiz by unanimous decision
    Byrd v McCline, Byrd by split decision
    Rahman v Meehan, Rahman by TKO
    Holyfield v Donald, Donald by unanimoous decision

    The Ruiz v Golota bout was a dirty fight. Ruiz manager got ejected from the arena. Needed his gloves taped 3 times. Lots of behind the head punches. When Golota lost a group of exceptionally rowdy pro-Poland spectators stormed from the upper decks to the floor where we were. They knocked down chairs and started slamming the gate protecting us floor VIPs from the masses. Of course, I stuck around to get some pictures on my Sidekick...

    All in all, it was a very fun night. The bouts were not overly exciting. No knockouts, although it looked like Ruiz was going down MANY times, but he never did hit the mat that third time. Lots of fights in the stands. Lots of people ejected. The annoying but strangely attractive Russian woman behind us who was muscled out by a large African-American woman. Some angry Hispanics who -- get this -- picked a fight with the Marines from the Color guard prior to the fight. The one guy smacked the Marine on the back of the head and they stomped his ass while the arena started shouting: U-S-A! U-S-A!
