    Hi Everyone,

    I was visiting Amsterdam last year when I took this photograph on a streetcorner (of Vizelstraat and Prinsengracht, I think).

    Can anyone tell me about this carving and what it represents? Is there a history behind it? It appears to be some seamen or something like that.

    I know where it is, I have seen it several times but I have absolute no clue where it stands for. Yes, it are seamen.

    Were you only visiting Amsterdam or have you seen more of our beautifull country??

    I have been to Holland twice. Both times was to Amsterdam - which I always enjoy, but I have not had the chance to see more of your country unfortunately.
    For this trip I was with my daughter for just a few days. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe though and I always enjoy it.
