    Hi.

Anyone know or heard of Dan Koturov? He restores/sells BMW 3.0 CS/I/L coupes. I think he's in the Forst Collins, CO area. I've been looking for a coupe for some time, and he's taking a look at one for me this weekend. Just trying to hear from as many people as possible. Thanks.

Never herd of him or anything like that here in Fort Collins. I work at one of the best BMW repair shops here in Colorado and we have been in Fort Collins for 30 years now. I have been around the BMW club for a long time and nothing has come up of such. Good luck.

Just curious, can you elaborate on the type of coupe you're looking for? Do the early 80's (1980-1985) 633s/635s count?

I strongly recommend you consult with the BMW Car Club of America, the BMW CS Registry, and www.e9coupe.com to support oyur decision-making process prior to doing ANY purchase of a 3.0CS-type BMW coupe. You may also want to do yourself a favor and conduct a web search say on google and type in the name of anyone you are considering as a purchase source, also a site like roadfly.org has searchable history for coupe questions, and will yield interesting results if you type in the name of the person you are considering doing business with. These are all objective, and in most cases highly-verifiable sources of useful information which can help you make an informed decision about purchase of a 3.0CS, or the sources you are considering. Best wishes in your search, also feel free if you'd like to e-mail for additional "coaching" I remember when I went shopping for a coupe the owners out there were very helpful, especially the ones who didn't have a financial stake in my decision!
