Off Topic - Which Style of Tire Caps Do You Like...

    Okay, not only is this off topic but it involves a Maserati cap (sorry). Anyway, as vintage Dino owners, I wanted to get a consensus on which style you guys like - the smaller cap or the larger one with the round stem. The smaller one is 10.13 mm wide x 11.57 mm long and made of aluminum. The larger cap is 13.07 mm wide at the top and the stem is 11.20 mm wide. Its length is 13.90 mm. It is chromed. So let me know!

    Years ago I got a set of the smaller caps for my Maserati Bora and during a car show where my car was prominantly displayed, three of the caps were removed. I don't know how they did it with everyone around.

    I won't buy them again, the cars are enough attraction as themselves, I don't need petty thievery added to the list.


    PS - Read the Southern Cal. Crystal Cove threads where you'll see the same behavior by guests and this event has RACs (Rent A Cop).

    I had a similar experience but what was taken was my gas cap. I still enjoy showing the Spyder but now I tape down the cap and remove the lighter and anything else that can be "lifted".
