I guess Crawford and I were some of the first to get here at around 3:30pm Wednesday. I drove about 100 miles to Crawford's place near Nashville, then caravaned another 300 miles to Indy. The blue 355 in front of us drove from Colorado -- 1200 miles! The Marriott is providing secure, monitored underground parking. They're also setting up a car wash for us on Saturday. This one has a very unusual paint job... a color shifting blue-to-green-to-bronze pearl. I've never seen it on a Ferrari before. Image Unavailable, Please Login
More from around the hotel, and as the underground parking is starting to get populated, around 5:30pm. These shots include a 308 with wire wheels, and a nice GTC, among many other sweet cars. Sorry some of the underground ones are blurry... there's not much light, and the flash doesn't reach very far... but it will give you an idea of what's here. I saw that she's SWEET, maybe I'll get to see her at some events this year. no stradales yet either ?
So the Vintage in post #4 is a Series I GTE with the fog lights in the grill and the 2nd Vintage pic in the later post is a 330 America? Tom Yang's by chance (I guess not if from Alabama)?
Here's some from the PIT WALK on Thusday morning... Lined up coming in, a good crowd. Ferrari of course has the most favorable position on pit row based on their standing last year. They were among the first to start opening their doors. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

A few of the other team garages, not too much different, but at least some of them did start their engines and let them rev up! Here's the Red Bull pit garage. While we were there, notice the guy in the middle of the second picture. The cap and plaid pants should be a give-away -- that's Jackie Stewart! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

And of course everyone wanted to get Michae'ls autograph! This picture was taken by Dr. Tommy Cosgrove. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Crawford and I joined a group of Ferraris parked in an informal corral... mostly folks from Canada. Before we left for the day, he and I started up our engines... the sound of his 328 with Tubi and my 308 with Stebro really drew a crowd! It was a nice ending for the formal activities for the day. Did not make it out for the pit walk about as i had to hit up a few photography shops and pick up some supplies for the weekend. But while i was driving around the monument circle a Yellow 348 Challenge with SC plates pulled in front of myself. Man what a sweet sound
Yep, you can see his car right next to mine in our little "corral". If you see him at any of our events this weekend, but sure to ask him about his little "incident" with the authorities in Kentucky on his drive from SC to Indy!
