A couple of Jags, an Aston Martin, and an F430...pretty standard I guess.... I saw all of these, plus a few more Jags, in Copenhagen throughout the past week. I love Denmark. Cool spot... funny just yesterday my buddy called and told me saw a heavily camo'd X6 near the HQ in Woodcliff Lake.
1959 Abarth 750 Zagato Monza... sitting in a warehouse in Secaucus, NJ, waiting to be shipped to Europe :-(
Just the other day on campus some college kid was driving an extremely rare yellow Qvale Mangusta Coupe in Yellow. He had the U of A sicker on the back and a good looking lady in the seat. Living the life but the car is kind of fugly looking http://www.qvaleauto.com/car.htm
Did you happen to catch 4 F430's at Ultimate Collision this morning? Three were outside, two coupes and one covert and then there was a black one way up on a lift inside. --RS
That's funny because I actually happened to see one yesterday in manorville on the way to the hamptons. It was a silver convertible though. I don't think I've ever seen one before and it actually sounded pretty good.
Orange color. It wasn't in the best shape - definitely a project for restoration. Next to it was whole crate of spare body panels and parts. Car itself was loaded inside with spares too But it's amazing how small that thing is - it's lower then any modern sports car I ever seen - more like a go-kart with body shell.
I am sure it is going to Europe for a good restoration. Restorations out there are 10x better than the ones here in the US and cheaper. I didn't know of an orange one in the northeast
Spotted what I thought was a Red TR in a used car lot not far from GDC on Rt46. Took the kids & Dad to see a B-17 & a couple other planes at Teterboro today & decided to check out the TR. Sad. So Sad. Even for a kit car. Side rakes snapped, 3 of the 4 tires flat, side view mirror ripped off & black cardboard taped over the small side windows. I'm not sure what type of car it was before, but I'm sure glad it wasn't a Ferrari.
