What are you gonna do with yourself if you sell?
I will have one perfectly good '78 carbed engine left over and 1-2 sets of wheels.... many silly things could happen.
S/N 14638 ... in need of some TLC. A fairly late car, December 1978 https://www.ebay.com/itm/308-GT4/282933533848
low miles is questionable, not sure how many times it has been round the clock ... could easily add 100,000 or 200,000...
A few cars floating around on ebay: S/N 13624 (it appears) a UK car disassembled for sale on ebay... another project car so hard to judge value. Currently £23,650.00 (~$32,000) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1977-FERARRI-308-GT4-RIGHT-HAND-DRIVE/292540830579 And then this one... a real project to say the least! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REVISED-Ferrari-308-GT4-Race-Car-Project-Ex-Chris-Rea-REVISED/142770894765 One that's a lot more appealing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1978-FERRARI-308GT4-DINO-RHD-UK-CAR-AND-ONLY-46-OO0-MILES-FERRARI-ROSSO-RED-WI/273136307624
Hi Jim, I plan to put the $$ into a college savings plan. Here’s the rebuilt engine that’s had a lot of love put into it - it will be a great car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The question is where to list it. I didn't have a lot of luck on Fchat tbh - Hemmings, Ebay, and BAT are the most likely options, or on consignment with one of the local players.
Interesting restored GT4 for sale currently on ebay - on the surface looks like a great car, well documented, restored etc... Would also be interested to see what others think of the black paint on the air intake scoops, and the little Bertone badges... not a fan myself, but the look is actually quite good. Will be interesting to see what it sells for (if it sells on Ebay) as I think this is one of the better cars for sale in a long time. http://vi.vipr.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=192549634033&t=1527275478000&tid=10&category=157040&seller=proteng&excSoj=1&excTrk=1&lsite=100&ittenable=false&domain=ebay.com&descgauge=1&cspheader=1&oneClk=1&secureDesc=0
Its had 25 bids so far, up to $45,100, but has a reserve, so not sure what the seller wants. Direct ebay listing with price: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Ferrari-308-GT4-2-2/192549634033
Hi all. I am looking to purchase a pristine unrestored 308 GT4 (if there are some left). Please PM me if you have or know one out there. Thanks.
Gentlemen, I think it's time to let mine go. I haven't been driving it much at all the last couple of years, and don't anticipate putting more than a couple hundred miles on it this year. I feel like it can go to a younger guy with some time to drive this car, like it was meant to be driven. I've placed an add in the classifieds. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/1975-308-gt4.579778/ (Mods, please let me know if this isn't OK, and I will delete the link). Seems like GT4 prices are all over the place, and I am asking what I think is a fair price, but of course, am negotiable. I want to be fair, and would love for the car to go to another GT4 lover on here.
