I think with a 45k reserve your car would definitely sell on BaT. Will be a shame not to see it at New Canaan though.

I was more referencing the modifications. The rear shelf is correct for a rear seat delete car (that's what mine looks like too)

Hi, not yet although had a view last weekend. To be honest has been on the backburner with a house move underway but that will be accomplished mid June and then will pick up the baton again. I think yours will present very well on BAT if not sold beforehand!

Well, best of luck with the move Guy. Are you planning on attending Greenwich? I'm headed to Lime Rock either Sunday/Monday, or just Monday, but I don't think I should shakethis down doing that, not yet lol. Compared to that Rubino one that sold for $40K on BaT yesterday, I think yours is much more comprehensive and should command your ask. Plus, vs my yellow, your color is nicer and likely more appreciated. Either way, here's a beer clink to finding us some new owners soon <clink!>

All the best and enjoy your Memorial Day Weekend! should be a nice one here in CT!

So I went ahead and listed my car on eBay.

I've been dropping the price over time, and have had lots of interested parties, but it seems that everyone is shying away because of the less than perfect body, which I think I've been very upfront about. It looks great at 5 ft, its only when you get close that you see the blemishes. Unfortunately, it seems that everyone is looking for a concours car, not a driver.

It will be interesting to see how it does on eBay. I set the starting bid to $40k, and its a no reserve auction, so someone could get this at what I think is a very good price, in spite of the body.

I've been watching the car. I hope it doesn't sell so I can buy it after my knee replacement in August. I love it.

I'm thinking of dropping mine to $43,000 prior to BaT.

I think that would make it the lowest available on the current market.

Gotta move on with life  and ALSO find a new home for my Fiat Dino.

Nice car, too bad the A/C and seats weren't sorted. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Daniel. I initially budgeted to have the seats done, but wasn't anticipating the center console and door cards too, and it just got to be too much on the quote (it was "livable" so...)

And in re: to the A/C. No disrespect, but frankly, I should've just pulled it out completely lol. Personally I think it's both a waste of time, space and just another weight to lug around. Unless it's like 355 and newer, I won't run A/C anyway. Just my two cents on that though. I would've liked to add an aftermarket exhaust to this though, and refresh the entire suspension.

PS. Yours is gorgeous btw, I hope she finds a good new home ASAP too.

I'm sorry if I sounded harsh, I didn't mean to. I would own this in a heartbeat if the timing was right,(knee replacement in August). I understand about the A/C and agree with you, I just feel if it's installed it would be nice to be operational. Nothing some hard earned cash couldn't fix. Again, good luck with the sale.

No worries, I see I got you mixed up with Depstein, my bad, it's HIS car you'd like, and I don't blame you! That things mint (I hate using cliche words lol)

Good luck with you knee surgery, and <cheers> to get back out on the road and driving ASAP after (hopefully in a GT4!)

I recall that some restored 308 GT4's were sold for around $125-$150K a few years ago. Would that value still hold considering the amazing level of work done on them? I love the car, but don't understand the variation in pricing. Comments?
