Amazing how cheap a hand made super car from 40 yrs ago can be had. Really digging that white with red interior.
That car has been on the web for a couple of years. Google "308 GT4 for sale" and it comes up. Looks like a scam.

Speaking of Black. This Series II 1976 Dino 308GT4 was on the NYC craigslist 5/8... gone now. No real info attached to the ad. Has anyone seen the boxer paint scheme on a black car? Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of our toronto F-chatters has a black/black boxer car. I've never seen it in person, but have seen lots of pics.
This one just up, series 1 US car with bumper delete/home update. not a fan of the black euro look. Looks like the bumper delete wasnt such a good idea but that bump on the nose at least exposes that there ISNT a ton of putty underneath (at least at that spot). I'd be thinking about rust just spotting the rusted steering wheel studs. Engine looks cared for. Guess the story about the mechanic can be checked out, but would an old italian man put that speaker in the back seat??? and if its a local FL car why does it have New Mexico plates (guess two homes is a logical explanation). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1975-308-GT4-Dino-Ferrari-/200764137182?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2ebe799ede Worth a look perhaps.
Good day, I would be curious if the mechanic comments check out, as I find it unlikely that a Ferrari Engine Guru (i.e. to me this means a specialist, etc) would service a Ferrari and continue to use Fram HP1 filter, leave plug wires dangling all over the place, etc... Usually gurus (to me) pay close attention to details... Cheers, Sam
I think that car has been for sale a few times in the past five or so years. I recall it being for sale last in Phoenix and I recall also that it had a horrible home-made front grille at the time. I don't recall it having body damage. It was bad last time it was for sale, and it is different now, but I don't think it is better/worse. If it truly is mechanically excellent it might be worth dropping a few thousand into it and make it a nice car again. But I doubt a car that has that much butchering/unrepaired damage has been the recipient of lots of TLC in the mechanical department. I'm skeptical.
Has anyone seen this one for sale before? I feel like there are 2 cars in FL that are being sold over and over! http://www.autotraderclassics.com/classic-car/1975-Ferrari-308-760627.xhtml?conversationId=159688
This 1978 red FL car # 14140 posted as sold recently on ebay. Anyone here? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I KNEW someone would pick up on that!! Easily reversible but what does it say.. But seriously, this thread is interesting in that even from the ads plenty of people can pick up the vibes from cars. I cant wait till a seriously nice car hits this thread, the contrast should be pretty obvious.
I dont recognise it. looks cosmetically pretty clean. Looks like the leather has had a recolouring. Wrong nuts on the airbox again but to my untrained eye the engine otherwise doesnt looked messed up.
Friends, Well everyone says these are wrong ones. I have the supposedly correct ones now but after talking to the first 3 owners I think I will leave these on. I know at least for sure these were on the car for the past 27 years..........Its not just the nuts that tell the story there is a element of pride, love and caring which is reflected in a engine bay on how much the owner cared for the car maintained and respected it.... I dont see much of that in any of these cars. Mine is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but I am proud when I look at it or share its photo. Found another GT4 owner near me maybe I can get hm to join our discussions! Rob Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is supposedly the correct nut set for the GT4. However, there are so many other things that are different, like how do you explain my inside door handles (not the paddle style)? The bolt for the stabiliser - does it go in the left and nutted on the right? Which is correct? Image Unavailable, Please Login
