Just came up on Ebay. Definitely needs cosmetics.......Just as the description says though. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1976-Ferrari-308-GT4R-Dino-3-0-L-V8-Needs-Cosmetics-Las-Vegas-/160842251533?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2572f1fd0d Price is a bit high IMO for what it needs. However, I'm not a GT4 expert.

Looks nice! The price doesn't seem too bad either.......much better deal IMO than the one on Ebay that needs cosmetics. 1975 model year too!.... which is a HUGE plus here in California! No emissions test required!
It does look nice, but they modified the rear seats. Take a look at the previous posts pictures to see what I mean. Also the front speakers look funny, although they might be ok for Euro version. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/3128937739.html
Just a follow up on the black GT4 from NY craigslist that Lorzen posted back in May: I bought that car. It's actually a 208 GT4 and it was everything I had hoped it could be. Very pleased with the car, though it took some sorting upon purchase. The PO had not driven it too much. I have now rectified that situation! ;-)
Wonderbrad, that's a slick 208GT4 there. Congrats! on a nice purchase. What exactly did you have to sort out?
Errr, I don't see how the rear seat is modified?? (this is mine - looks pretty much the same to me) Image Unavailable, Please Login
@Mattdaddy, We had to fit new tires, change fluids, and do the timing belts as well as cam cover gaskets. Then, after the car broke down (!) we had to convert her to electronic ignition, as we believe the resistors had gone bad. The car runs like a top now, but we have now got a gassy smell. I think the carbs are running rich because we tuned them when they were still a little dirty.
Wonderbrad, Congrats on your Euro gt4! Does the 208 have twin dizzies? What electronic ignition did you settle on? Also to stay on topic the attached is on the Denver Craigslist. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cant paste the link but there is a 208gt4 For sale in blairstown nj. Video included (sort of amusing too)
The 208GT4 is in the North Jersey Craigslist. Do a search for "Ferrari" in cars and trucks and it comes up. To quote the seller "I bought it because I fell in love with it". But he drove it very little. Sounds like me!!!
Wow! I had no idea there was another 208 in NJ. I know some guy in Long Island also owns one. So that means includign mine there are at least 3 in the NYC area out of 840 made. That's actually a very high number!
Here it is - it has the black steering wheel arms and black dash which I have now been educated are a 208 signature. As he mentions in the vid it was imported from Italy and I assume they are sidelights to get it federalised - surely you could delete the large ones? I think it looks really nice, perhaps the front seats have been recoloured? I love these cars on these alloys. Owner admits it hasnt been driven a lot so you'd expect that there will be some issues mechanically somewhere/somehow. I wouldnt mind driving a 208 at the right price - in my mind it isnt like say a 911 and a 912, this still has the fundamentally the same engine. Seems expensive at $32000 but people pay silly money for Alfa 105 gtv's and this is way cooler. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/3145105126.html Seems there is quite a few GT4's in the tri state/new england area. GT4 love in anyone? Guy
Just stumbled across this one while visiting Oregon: http://www.northwestclassicautomall.com/ClassifiedAds.html?pid=6203&step=4
Fiberglass ? Same add as before ? Barrett-Jackson sold a 1975 Blue Series One Dino 308gt4 last June in Sourthern California auction for $80,000 plus fees. Williams Auctions sold a 1975 Green Series One Dino 308gt4 in Houston, TX April, 2010 for $94,600 Really ?
