Would have had to been one of the 60th anniversary versions with the red and white paint job and different wheels. How about a serial number for the car? I am sure Keith Bleumel would like to know for his chart in Cavallino, too, which has the first and last SN of each model. There were a few three pedal, 6 speed Californias, too, but not sure when they were built.
yours is a later build date than the one i know. so at the very least i can say yours could be the last one indeed.
CC- That is a very late 599. Carbon McCoy might have some info on her and how late she is if you want to PM him. His user name is 134282 (serial number for his favorite Enzo).
I wish there was a way to find all the manual 599s for sale in the US, this is a potential sought after car imo.
There were a handful of Californias built with a 6 speed and 3 pedals. Not sure if any made it to the US.
All of the Alonsos I've seen (about 15) are F1s. Never heard of a manual Alonso. Many are still on the market as they have a questionable color scheme. Hey Carcraaazy, Right now your SN 182599 is just a rumor. Hows about kindly sharing and posting a couple of pictures of it on the "599 Manual picture thread"? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/612-599/481575-599-gated-stick-manual-official-picture-thread.html We'd love to see a side shot (to avoid license plates) and one of the stick...
The xxx599 serial # is the real deal, I have seen Carcraaazy's car and everything he said about it is legit. Awesome car and a precious piece of history. He is a lucky guy!
Here you go. Whoever keeps track of this stuff can update their files "Officially". Thanks for being patient guys, I feel lucky own it. Like I said, I don't check in that often here. Image Unavailable, Please Login
