So this thread is dedicated to the beautiful 612 OTO. Is there also a general photo thread for the 612? I can't seem to find it. I would already like to know where I can post the pictures of my pre-OTO 612 if I close the deal this thursday?
For the start screen on my double din display for the stereo/satnav etc...not perfectly done on the big screen but looks cool when I start the car! Image Unavailable, Please Login
MJ, I think your car somehow made it into Switzerland and is now for sale here at a dealer. http://auto.ricardo.ch/kaufen/fahrzeuge/autos/coupe/ferrari-612/w/an501139185/ Not a bad price for the swiss market. Was this yours? Regards Hans
The 612 is a modernized classic, like the original 456 - not the 456M - was a refreshed 365GTC4 2+2. If you don't like the 612, you just don't get Ferrari styling history. The 612 goes back even further than the 456, to the 275 and its ilk. What makes the 612, "weird" is the ultra-long wheelbase/ultra short front overhang. People who don't like the 612, but who can't put their finger on why they don't like it, are usually subconsciously turned off by the proportions: The front wheels are WAY forward in the design, which does make the car look ungainly to some. I was originally nonplused by the 612, but it grew on me. Now it is on my bucket list. Cheers, George
