Heavy delivery last week. I finally made the decision to buy Inside Track by Phil Hill and Doug Nye - Collector's Edition and Racing Autobiography. What great books!

Did you order directly from the publisher?

I paid about EUR 1000,- including shipping to Germany. I was surprised that I didn't have to pay any additional custom fees.

Hi Gert, just wait. Two days ago, I received a letter from FedEx who charged fees for a book they delivered more than four months (!) ago to me!

    I've been told 380 euros.
1000 copies - don't know if splitted between german and english or not.

What about quotation for the original one? Will they go up or down?
To be honest I much prefer the cover color of 2nd edition.

That brings me to an interesting topic: books about Ferrari racing teams. The following books came to my mind instantly, but I am pretty sure that there are many more monographies:

    Ed Heuvink, Scuderia Filipinetti

Doug Nye, The Colonel’s Ferraris – Maranello Concessionaires

    Arnaud Meunier, CH. Pozzi

Arnaud Meunier, 250 LM – Maranello Concessionaires

    Terry O’Neill, N.A.R.T.

I reviewed O’Neill’s N.A.R.T. book at www.Speedreaders.info I found it a bit short on narrative. We need the long delayed Chinetti/NART that was started by the late Michael Lynch to get the full story of the man who was more important to the success of Ferrari than anyone else except Enzo himself.

D.C.N.’s Ronnie Hoare/Maranello Concessionaires book was his only work that I’ve read that was a bit of a letdown.

Gianni Rogliatti's "Ecurie Garage Francorchamps", published by Giorgio Nada Editore in 1992.
(because of this book my own book "Ferrari by Vignale" was delayed by Nada by about two years)

The next edition of Automobilsport (#32) has Scuderia Filipinetti as the featured topic. Should be a good one!

That is a great book. My dad bought it for me at a bookstall at the Spa Ferrari Days in the early nineties when he took me there after graduation. A cherished item in my library... Nowadays these books are quite hard to find and the price has gone up considerably.

Off topic: Marcel, there is an interesting model in that book on page 219, the 348 TB/F with S/N 82881. Do you have any information on the whereabouts of this unique car?

    Thanks,
    Natan

Their work is generally very good.
I have the entire series including the slipcases and can certainly recommend it to anybody interested in classic motorsport.

Can anybody please tell how the book on Pozzi is? I'd like to order it so a bit of advise from the community is welcome.

There are two editions of the Pozzi book. First one is from 2016, second one from 2020 with improvements by fchatter Marc Sonnery.
