Those are the two I have on the subject and as far as I know they are the only two books published on the SuperAmerica that I'm aware of.
I just ordered my copy this morning directly at Porter Press, which still had some supply of copies signed by Keith Bluemel in their stock.
Yesterday I ordered a signed copy of Keith Bluemel’s F40 book from Cotswold Road & Race. I’m looking forward to it.
I just received this today, in perfect condition owing to excellent packaging by Books Etc Ltd in England. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I checked my copy of the Bull book. There aren’t a lot of pictures to start with and the pages with pictures aren’t numbered. So the Bull book actually has 950 pages of text only. I think this new version will really be ‘reduced’ in the hope of selling books to the tv series audience who may be scared of by almost 1000 pages of text.
Do they have a proper web site? All I could find was eBay and FB. I don’t like to use either of those.
I emailed Andy Massen at [email protected] to purchase a signed copy, and I believe they still have signed copies. They have not advertised their F40 book inventory on eBay or Instagram. Payment is via either PayPal or wire transfer. They offer tracked economy, tracked standard, and FedEx. As far as I know, Cotswold R&R doesn’t have a website. Alternatively, the first 300 copies purchased directly from Porter Press will be signed copies.
Earlier this week I received my copy of Keith Bluemels' new Ferrari F40 book. Outright fantastic, great background stories and even better pictures. Love it as an F40 enthousiast: https://porterpress.co.uk/collections/ferrari-books/products/ferrari-f40
Porter Press posted that information on Instagram. First 300 orders directly at Porter Press will get signed copies. As it seems, Charles and Andy have been successful in getting some of these copies
I can't confirm if I were one of the first 300 direct orders; I can say that my copy indeed was signed by Keith Bluemel. A very nice thought.
Congratulations to our own @wbaeumer whose book (with Jean-François Blachette) has been nominated for the Royal Automobile Club’s Motorsport Book of the Year.* Image Unavailable, Please Login *There is a difference in the spelling of Walter’s surname in the forum and on the book jacket, so I hope I haven’t committed a faux pas.
@Maximus: That is astonishing, because at Instagram, the following picture was posted of the signature (by @benblu650, I hope, I am allowed to share it here): Image Unavailable, Please Login Are there two editions or two ways of signing?
The copy pictured here was purchased from Cotswold R&R. Andy of Cotswold told me they saw Mr. Bluemel at Goodwood Revival and asked him to sign some copies for them. The copies they received from Porter Press were evidently unsigned copies. That may explain the difference regarding which pages were signed. My understanding is that copies purchased directly from Porter Press were signed by Mr. Bluemel before the books were bound.
I got an email from Keith with the following line: I signed a large number of “tip-in” pages for insertion into the book Regards, Hugo
