Some of my rarer pieces. I have to agree with Nathan's comments regarding "Ferrari In Camera", it is expensive but really is a phenomenal piece of work. Metal Memory is just special because of its unique production process. Making a Difference is a fantastically produced book by two amazingly knowledgeable authors. Ferrari 80 signed by Luigi Chinetti Senior and what I was told to be Jacques Swaters (but I believe to maybe be different?) A book I think is a must for anyone interested in early Ferraris is "Origins of the Ferrari Legand" by Colombo. It can usually be found for around $50 US.
Hi Paul I can confirm that your Ferrari 80 signature is indeed that of Jacques Swaters. I have an English ed. Piloti Che Gente which is signed by Enzo, Luigi and Jaques. I also have with it the autographs of Col. Ronnie Hoare and Charles Pozzi. Nathan
Thanks for the info Nathan. I also have a deluxe version of the very good Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer Book signed by the author Paul
I thought you guys might appreciate a photo. Enzo, Jaques and Luigi are on the right hand page. Col Hoare is on a BRDC greeting card, and Ch Pozzi on a photo. Nathan Image Unavailable, Please Login

That is nothing short of incredible. I'll have to come up with a list as well... there are just sooooo many. For sure Ferrari in Camera will be on it. Amazing thread! GT
Wow, some very nice books. I have the Ferrari 250 GT Sperimentale N# 2643 with Stirling Moss and Ferrari 250 Lemans Berlinetta with David Piper. I also have alot of oddball Japanese Ferrari books and magazines. Scuderia Japan up to about volume 20 is a great reference. I received F40 Da Corsa by Sergio Cassano. Very nice F40LM-GTE book!! Tom Tanner/Scale Designs
There are some fine collections here! I'll post my lists soon. In the meantime, it looks like I have a way to go to catch up with some of you! Those signed editions are fabulous. Can someone tell me how to order Metal Memory? I recall seeing it advertised in Cavallino but I haven't been able to locate the ad. Thanks! Jack
I ordered mine through Carol Roush at the Ferrari Market Letter. See here: http://www.ferrarimarketletter.com/singleproduct.cfm?item_id=7706 Delivery time if i recall correctly was in the region of 2 months due to the production process. I started a link way back when were people could post their "print" numbers for "Making a Difference" so to give it a little bump... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=113383&highlight=making+difference I'm still eagerly waiting Marcel Massini's work on the 250 Mille Miglia which apparently will follow a similar format to "Making a Difference". Paul
The Website for the Publisher has a link to get it from the Ferrari Market Letter. So that would be your best bet for purchasing it.
My purse is a slender type so only 2 1/2 books on Ferrari : Ferrari by Hans Tanner , 3rd edition 1968 - Ecurie Garage Franchorchamps 1992 - just recently Red-Hot Rivals by Karl Ludvigsen ! Please give me some hints if you see Ferrari (or others)transporters/vans ,service cars etc. in your books ! Bjørn Kjer
I bought it from the auction catalog of l'art et l'automobile back in 1999 . I know they were very rare and were produced in Japan back in 1990. If i remember correctly they were selling for @ $400 - $500.- !!
You've had it for quite some time, then. I'll be at Goodwood Revival in September and Horton's Books always has a booth there, and they have some very rare books. I'll check with them. The book looks fantastic. Thanks for the information. Jack
Ferrari in Camera (anyone have the Ferrari-edition with the red aluminum cover) Making a Difference Ferrari 1947-1997 Deluxe edition. Any of the Enzo-written books seen in the first post Formula Ferrari with the prints - Paolo D'Alessio prize for most ostentacious: Google is failing me on the title, but its the rather smallish book from about 10 years ago printed on gold-leaf pages. Yes. Gold Leaf pages. Kinda stood out from the crowd to say the least... someone here might know the title. It was advertised in Cavallino at the time... others Ferrari objects of art Berlinetta - Peter Groh F50 brochure book Ferrari Emotion 365 GTB/4 Daytona (Roush and Braden) 250GT California A Ferrari of Particular Distinction Ferrari di Pininfarina (close twin would be Ferrari & Pininfarina by Cornil - the sketches fronting each chapter are very well done)
http://www.lemans-racing.com/ferrariMans.html Bought it last week at Le Mans. Very nice (French only!) with many (color)photos. Many photos which have not been in other Ferrari books.
I have four of your top five, but only the blue edition of Ferrari in Camera....could never hope to afford the Ferrari edition. The gold book was on ebay recently for something llike $19,000. Jack.
