Unfortunately many books don't even get read, they just sit somewhere catching dust. Full disclosure: I bought more books than I will be able to read in my lifetime.
I complained at Progetto 33 for now publishing a surprising standard edition and thus sending the value of the original, limited edition down the waterfalls. You wouldn't believe what they answered: They are going to publish another book (on a different topic) next year and offer me a discount on that!!! So, instead of apologising they try to talk me into making the same mistake twice. Would you believe it ...
Congratulations to @Doug Nye , who has been presented with the Royal Automobile Club Lifetime Achievement Award at the Motoring Book of the Year event.
Hear hear, well deserved, staggering body of work of the highest order, reading GTO 64 evenings now, really excellent. He is always helpful and welcoming.
Doug is really THE superstar, always super friendly and helpful and extremely knowledgeable. His GTO64 book is one of my top three Ferrari books. Marcel Massini
High praise and well-deserved high praise indeed. Now imagine what awards Doug will win with volume 4 of the saga of B.R.M. (as a sidenote, see my earlier plea and please publish volume 1 - 3 as E-books!)

Image Unavailable, Please Login Reviving an old post, but does anyone have a guesstimate for valuation of the AMR book/catalog? 200 were originally printed at $290. Can't find anything on Google, E-Bay or Amazon.
Great question. I have one of these sets too, and wrote the review for Cavallino. My guess is anywhere between original issue price to double that at the very most. But probably more realistic around $400. Even though these were very limited, and the edition is long sold out, they are a true niche within a niche item! So I don't see them ever being in high demand which of course relates to their value. If you find out anything on values, let me know!
Thanks so much for the response. I'll keep you posted as to what I can find out. I went back to the Cavallino review you wrote. Fantastic.

I bought mine about 2 years back from Andre-Marie's son, Antony.. It is signed by Marie-Claude Ruf. I also believe that co-producer Michael Gregg in the USA still has copies available. They both had copies when I bought mine, and as Marshall says it is a niche product so copies probably still available? And not just as the designer, but also as the editor. He chooses some very interesting articles. Nathan
