I would pick the Millanta book.
Old release: Racing through Europe New release: The Ferrari Bloodline I'm still waiting for the Aston Martin 'Project' GT Racing Cars book though.
Right you are, was a tough decision, but I chose to list the Monza book in a complete different sphere / realm, not eligible for secular rankings of this kind
Previous release: "Bernard Cahier - F Stops, Pit Stops, Laughter & Tears" New Release: "Ferrari In America" Still Waiting But Losing Patience: "DeTomaso Mangusta"

Book year started, Bloodline arrived! A book that references deep into nothing else than perfection in every detail so it‘s a pitty how bad it was packed, no perfection there, paket too small and too soft, far too little inner padding. And a dent in the front, which don’t came from shipping, hope to get a new one or at least a new cover… Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very sad to hear Where did you order? Mine came from Maranello Classic Parts in UK and was perfectly packed in a large carton with lots of cushioning.
Very much enjoying the new Chinetti book. Up to about 1946, but a fascinating history of his pre-war life. Did not know his close connection with Duntov.
Started reading the book yesterday and cannot put it aside. What a great work! Thank you, Gisberto Leopardi, for sharing your rich memories with us! Image Unavailable, Please Login
For those interested in US distribution, AutoBooks AeroBooks tells me they have ordered it. Pastiner’s is checking into it.
I just read the chapter about how Enzo Ferrari established a training school and evening classes in Maranello (originally in today's Cavallino restaurant building!) right after the war to educate future mechanics who at the same time received some school education. At that time, such an approach was highly innovative and visionary. I hadn't heard about that part of Ferrari history until Leopardi's book (who himself successfully passed a course).
The school is still around! It is now located about a 1/2 km down the street closer to the center of Maranello. Their Italian language website is linked below. https://www.ferrari.edu.it/
Update on this. Maranello send a new book, this time packing was even more worse and the book even more shaken inside… It‘s unbelievable. Now they ask after description of the outer box from the first shipping for their claim (against the shipper i presume…) I will do nothing, i will repack as worse as they done it and they can pick it up but after they send the replacement even more worse than the first time i‘m angry about killing a tree for nothing by nothing less than irgnorance.
So I realize I've been lucky to get mine in perfect condition - only at a VAT-inflated price Joke apart, that's really a pity that they did not manage to send it properly to you.
Hello Christian, sad to read this. There s someone from Maranello Classic Parts around, probably you can ask him to resolve correctly this problem? Page 758-9
