Two examples of the steering wheel. First up a 1971 S/N 14203 with the black horn button (a replacement?) and that also has the silver nose paint. Second is the 1972 S/N 15283 which has the black horn button mentioned. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This 1973 365GTB/4 S/N 16993 also features the black horn button. Second is the later 1973 365 GTB/4 S on S/N 17057 with the black horn button to. So consistent use of this style later in production. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have seen a photograph of this car taken at le Mans. IIRC Luigi Chinetti Sr. picked up the car at the factory and drove it (solo) to le Mans. In the photo the car appears to be beige or possibly gold and it had a minor fender bender in the front. Kirk White and Mr. Chinetti made some sort of deal involving the Daytona, a 512 engine and spares. The Daytona was shipped to the USA along with the racecars.
Yes classy and a link to the past Ferrari racers. Image Unavailable, Please Login 1969 Dark Blue Series 1 version 365 GTB/4 I recall a red 1972 Daytona spyder ordered through Chinetti to be delivered with a wood steering wheel but that was certainly an exception by then.
Good morning, I just joined FerrariChat today because I am in possession of a CA license plate "365GTS4" that was registered to s/n 14737. Do you know how I would be able to locate the current owner of this vehicle? Thank you, Blaze

$150,000 in 1988 is way low, I suspect that this number is inaccurate. Brian doesn't still own it, does he?
Amazing! I've had this license plate lying around the garage for years and never knew this community existed. Was speaking with my buddy this morning and he mentioned it since his father owns several Ferraris ...so glad I did
That entire information is incorrect ("88 sold to an L.A. investor group for $ 150 K.") Marcel Massini
bummer, when I acquired this license plate the following printout was provided from: http://www.barchetta.cc/english/all.ferraris/detail/14737.365.gts4.htm but I have no idea who/or if barchetta.cc is reputable.
Apologies if I've already shared this, but the post #258 by @SCantera in 330 GTC picture thread reminded me of it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
