Howard, would you by chance be able to get me a copy of that magazine or high resolution photocopies of those pictures ? They seem to reveal a lot of interesting details likely applicable to non-RHD cars also.
From what I gathered Howard, the small market specific items were in a box in the boot for the dealers to fit. [Marcel have you knowledge of this] Maybe Ferrari decided not to fit it to yours as it was a show car. I can see the 8 track had been dealer fitted at this point, who knows with Ferrari. There is a photo on here of said cardboard box with the chassis number on it from a 70 mile Daytona, but I can't seem to find it, it also had small items like the window crank etc. Clearly your lovely car did not have one., but 12841 in New zealand, has the gator over the gear lever [ now] , this cars is a few cars earlier than yours. Whatever, yours is a fantastic car Howard.
Not really if those examples were factory/Scuderia entries at some race. You know, just like most of the modern production cars they’ve been making (and apparently racing ?) in recent decades.
Today in Druten, The Netherlands. An unclear picture on the placue next to the car shows an Italian license plate, possibly MIL06543? Anyone able to identify this Daytona? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
