At McPherson College in Kansas taking some of their Summer Institute courses. This is Daytona 15567, a project that belongs to the college, was told it had been off the road for about 20 years before they acquired it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
15567 was donated by the 2nd owner (who had it since October 1974) as a charitable gift to the McPherson College. Marcel Massini
Here’s a pic of the front and the interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Thanks for the confirmation, someone here mentioned they thought it had been donated but wasn’t sure.
The plexi with it‘s 7,5 inch Cromodora in the back, the wooden steering wheel and the early headrest-less seats looks so good and especially in this colour combination! Love it! Thanks for that drop dead beautiful Daytona pair Marcel!
Got to see this beautiful car today! It’s a Straman converted GTB/4 coupe (s/n 16837) Owned by a local collector here in Buffalo. Probably one of the most breathtaking cars I’ve ever seen!
Had a spirited road test of new tires & wheels this morning. Quite interesting how much the grip chances between fresh and 6 or so years old tires (latter only had about 800 miles on them). One can easily feel the difference in softness even by just pushing on the threads of each with a finger. And comparatively, the spare XWX in the C/4 (seen in the background) is "new", but from 2000 and as hard as a rock. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Currently at the Matra museum in France (they're having an Italian car exhibition). It was my first visit and it is a very nice and cosy museum. Recommended if you're not just into Ferraris. Image Unavailable, Please Login
