Daytonas in Paris October 1968 were: 11795 on the Pininfarina stand (red). 11929 on the Ferrari stand (blue). Marcel Massini
good morning, in the first pics, we are on a stand (Ferrari) on the next pics, on another stand (PininFarina) is this right? why does the first photo say that this is the Franco Britannic stand? were they representing Ferrari? thanks in advance Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes Franco Britannic was the french official importer. Charles Pozzi took over just after this 1968 Paris Motorshow.
Taken at Concorso Italiano in 2006, my first trip to this event, but not my last. I wasn't much good at collecting the identities of cars back then so if any can assist with the identity it would be much appreciated. Image Unavailable, Please Login
13987. Chassis ID tag below. Not born yellow but Verde Pino. Repainted multiple times. The crazy thing is that there was a red 365 GT2+2 (Queen Mary) using the same identity 13987. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mr. Massini, I recently acquired 16445 from Gary Bobileff. The car is outstanding and such a joy to drive. I would like to inquire about obtaining your full report on this car. I have bits and pieces of history from the previous owners but was wanting to your expertise on this. Learn something new every day. I guess I’ve never really wanted a plexiglass, and thus never examined one closely… Any idea whether the texture was in the fiberglass or in the paint?
Looks lovely. Really like the fact that it gives the impression that care has been given to preserving all the USA-spec stuff…
