    Wonderful photos in this thread!

Is this a TDF in the background of this review of an Audi? If so, anyone have a clue on the SN?
I believe this was in California around 2013.
It's at about 4:25 in this video. here are a couple screen grabs as well.

Taking another look, I don't see the louvres on the side, so I'm probably wrong on the model. Sorry guys. I don't know the vintage models that well.

Not a TDF. A 250 Boano or Ellena Coupé. Rare car, too. The experts will soon chime in with the correct coachbuilder and probably even serial number.

0933GT made an appeared this past Sunday at our local Ferrari dealership's monthly car meet, known as Piazza Gran Turismo, in Westlake Village, CA.

We get a few of the classics every now and then, but this one took my breath away more than most.

This is not the original color according to Barchetta - their timeline suggests that it was repainted in 1999 after acquisition by David Webb.

And yeah, all kinds of perfect.

Original exterior color: Oro chiaro (gold metallic) with a thin white longitudinal stripe.
    Original interior color: Bordeaux.

Confirmed by period photos in my archive.

Appreciate the correction Marcel - I clearly overlooked where it says "gold" in black and white at the top of the Barchetta entry. Glad you are right and that the 1999 restoration and subsequent owners made the choice to respect originality.

    Some more photos.

Woo hoo!! Señor McCarthy was right, taking Spanish in high school did pay off later in life.

    Gracias!

    T

Edit - actually my Spanish may be rusty, does one of the posts say that it was abandoned at the airport in Paris? Thanks.

That is correct and customs authorities impounded it and several years later was sold in a customs auction. Who the owner was at that time is unknown

Really like how the TDF looks in yellow. I actually saw 1353 last summer in a private collection in California, now painted in (its original?) black. No photos allowed unfortunately.
