The track was Elkhart Lake, WI/USA, Road America June Sprints on 22 June 1963.
Birmingham placed 14th OA and 2nd in class.

    Post 726 says this:

"I have that photo as Birmingham in June 1963."

From that sentence I thought you mean Birmingham, Alabama, racetrack.
That's why I supplied more details.

    9 November 1959.
The correct name of the co-driver was Guy van Dooselaere (a.k.a. "Buffin", alias name).

:( my certainly incomplete and outdated information (from Jess Pourret's 250GT competition book) does not mention any racing activity for 0509GT after 1958, nor Spa GP in 1958 (there is a Namur GP listed).
The 250 GT mentioned for the 1958 Spa GT are 0749GT, 0879GT, 0731GT, 0805GT and 0707GT; there is a car for Léon Dernier for which the chassis number is not given. The race numbers are 33, 28, 31, 32 and 35 for Dernier's car. I suppose Dernier's car could have been 0509GT (although it's not mentioned in the 1958 Spa report nor in 509GT's racing history) since that car has been apparently shared between Blaton and Dernier.
Or as mentioned in post #735, 0509GT could have been racing number 36 (which would make sense given the other racing numbers mentioned for the 250GT, from 28 to 35) and could have been overlooked for not achieving any result in the race (although retired cars are mentioned for other races).
Of course my documentation (and my resulting education) is very limited, but maybe these details could be of some interest for some readers - for those not needing them, please forgive the waste of reading time ;)
