    Tony's 275 was a 6C alloy torque tube 2cam s/n 8891. The ultimate spec for a road going 275 2cam. Tony has impeccable taste.

    It took me more than a year to convince the owner, a well known fchatter, to bring it back to Verde Medio but nowadays he does not regret that decision at all.

    I find Grigio Notte metallizzato (106-E-28) to be a very elegant color, rich in nuances and particularly suited to the design of the 275 GTB/4.
    I am also intrigued by the fact that, for a substantially light color, the word notte (night), which recalls darkness, was chosen.

    Moreover, often from the photographs on the web - taken in different light conditions - it is difficult if not impossible to recognize this color with such particular shades.

    Would it be possible to know how many 275 GTB/4 - regardless of interior color - were originally painted Grigio Notte 106-E-28?

    Born silvergrey, later repainted in (the usual) red, then about 30 years ago back to original silvergrey. Same owner last 53 years.

    At the following link, on instagram, I found photos and videos - dating back to 2021 - of the 275 GTB/4 chassis 09865 color grigio notte metallizzato 106-E-28. The car is beautiful and its engine makes a heavenly sound.

    No,the focus was touring on small roads with many mountain passes. The largest city visited was Saint Gaudens, as a tribute to Alberto Ascari's 1952 win on the circuit du Comminges.
