Marcel do you remember the picture of I believe s/n 06437 that was like a Pininfarina advertisement? Outdoors at a country house with a side view of the car near a woodpile. However in the colored picture the original paint on the car was showing much more blue than green. When Michael restored the car to Aqua Verde Metallizatto it came out looking much more green than the Pininfarina colored photograph. Do you have that Pininfarina photograph available or any original color image? Thank you.
See also cover of FCA magazine "Prancing Horse" of 1973, issue #36. Aqua Verde Metallizzato is an Alfa Romeo color, a metallic sea-green. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, thank you Marcel I remember that issue but did not make the connection with that color. Did that restored car go to [name deleted] Hong Kong? In some notes I had for the Pininfarina picture there is also a child with a pedal car in the view that looks like a 1950's Ferrari F1 car. It even has silver headers painted on the side of the toy riding car. It was on a computer I don't have here now unfortunately!
Born short nose, converted to longnose, re-converted back to shortnose 2007. Sold new to Switzerland, last sold almost one year ago to Munich, Germany. Marcel Massini
Marcel here is the picture I was thinking of 06437 looking blue . It was in another file > Image Unavailable, Please Login
09657 posted on IG today by DK Engineering. "This 275 GTB/4, #09657, has had some pretty outrageous styling upgrades during is life including an outside filler cap, 7 Louvres per side, flared arches, a front air intake on the bonnet, recessed door handles, dive plates and to top it off a two piece targa roof! Pretty insane isn't it!? Although not true to its original form it was always fun to see what mods people carried out to their cars. Almost sadly in this day and age of Classiche we don't really see hot rods like this any more. But we sure can remember them!" Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, technically, in 1981(?) this car was +/- 15 year old model and if today we were to search some now +/- 15 year old exotic cars with currently or recently fashionable(?) "hot rod" modifications, I'm sure plenty of examples could be found.
i have that short nose steering and installed it on my e-type. it gets a lot of compliments. much more solid than the flimsy jag wheel.
Does somebody know this 275 GTB taken at FF Galleria april 29th 2007 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another picture of 6437 shown on the ramp at Pebble Beach in 1992. The pictures were used in a later advert for European Auto. Also see the article in Cavallino #73.
I thought to 07855 because I saw it in Monaco in 2008 and apparently, it was in Maranello when you took your pics one year before...
Might posted this one before, but design for the 2008 TA... we choose stripes btw. Ciao Oscar Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is it the same fog light as on s/n 06601? If so, anyone know the make/part no. of the unit/lens? Is it a Carello lamp? -Ed
