Funnily enough, I passed by there yesterday too on my way back from the Meridien open day. Didn't spot you though! Jonathan
Didn't see you either followed a 328GTS back F**SYE IIRC he didn't seme to recognise the California as a Ferrari
all fantastic loooking cars... the tdf with quilted seats is exceptional and I love the red carpet on the tan! Very cool!
Here's my Mugello/Cuoio Cali. Just took them today...they're a little bright (the red is a quite a bit darker to the naked eye), but I'm no photographer. Bought as a demo a month ago when I learned how slow my Feb order (Silverstone) was coming. Happier with the color than I thought I'd be...reminds me of a retro 60's red, somewhat dark and not a hint of metallic in it. I could lose the colored steering wheel, but love the colored A-pillars. It's got the usual daytonas, power seats, magnaride, afs, ipod, etc...and cruise (somehow doubt I'll ever use it). Wish the wheels were pushed out just a little further...especially at the rear. Seriously thinking of 15mm spacers, and 10mm for the front. Any one have any experience with spacers? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
beautiful sir! per the spacers, there was a lengthy thread in the 430 section...you sould be able to find the posts with a search. it definitely helps the appearance, even where the wheels are pushed out a small amount. the whole car just 'sits' tighter. congrats on the car!
Thanks...really helpful advice. Now confident in going ahead, though thinking maybe I should go just 10mm on back and 5 on front.
even a little bit helps, just remember to have a good shop perform the work...you'll need to adjust toe/camber etc as well, so everything is good and proper...
A very evil looking Cali I saw in Stockholm today Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
the wheels on the Bentley looks a bit better in a proper angle... http://www.flickr.com/photos/anyett/4693854880/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/anyett/4693140091/
Not really. I was a fan of the original ones. http://www.exoticsonroad.com/picture/?845013/Bentley-Continental-T
I believe those are the factory 20" wheels...just powder coated black; a little too Scudish, or even dare I say EVO/WRXish for me. I was actually thinking of going the opposite way and powder coating mine the same color as the standard 458 wheels...I think it would give the 20's a more elegant loo; which for me is what the Cali is all about.
