This is not a real picture because: A - it has steel brakes. B - it has centre locks. C - you'd have to be certifiabley insane to do that to an F12.
I placed the order about a month ago. Guessing it will be acknowledged ( Red 10) perhaps in September since the factory closes for August break. Wish I knew more, but my dealer principal said it would likely take a "long time" given special paint/leather. The waiting will be tough!!
Thank you so much for your explanation. There are literally hundreds of shades used in the past that are more than worth to be brought back. Glad to see you did so. Funny though, that there is a historic "standard" range but then again you can dive into virtually ANY historic shade.
I could not believe how many colors were available at the Tailor Made studio. Some had not been named ( or so I was told) and, if you chose one of those you could assign a name. I was at least smart enough not to choose one of those (imagine they charge very hefty $$$), but my 12 year daughter, who was with us, picked out the Rosso Bordeaux. My wife nearly fainted when she saw the price on the estimate I finally received. Anything seems possible for a price........
I have just submitted the specs for my F12 and have been told that Rosso Mugello is extracampionario as is the Cuoio Toscana interior leather… i believe that this will translate as "extrabudgetario" when all is said and done.
I was expecting the Cuoio Toscana to come at a premium but was surprised by Mugello. There for a while I was wavering between Mugello and Pozzi, perhaps I should waver a bit more. I have yet to find out just how “extracampionario” this will be… what a great euphemism.
That is surprising. I thought Rosso Mugello was a standard range color?? How much did they quote? This actually makes me feel a little better. I was leaning toward Mugello when we were at the Tailor Made studio at the factory, but my daughter insisted that Rosso Bordeaux matched the Cotto interior better ( she was right). I saw somewhere that "extra range" colors were $ 11,000. My wife looked faint when the estimate for the bordeaux came back at about $30,000. The "furniture grade" leather was nearly as expensive, but given the overall cost of these cars, you might as well get one just as you want it. You only live once....

Given the context of overall expense of these cars the personalized touches are likely worth it in the end. I too was surprised that the Mugello is considered a non standard color. Apparently the pricing guide that the dealers have does not include these items so I am left to ( impatiently) await the final number.

Thanks! No, I am a firm believer that, when it comes to boats, renting is infinitely better than buying. But then again I work for a living! Maybe I'll change my tune when I retire and have a bit more time.
