Not a full review but interesting all the same. Informative on the workings and compromises amongst the tires, rear steering and ESC. It all points up what is done in the name of incremental performance at the limit, and thus how unique Ferrari is -- what other "luxury car" company would go to such lengths (and the tdf is only the last in a historic line) to build what really approach pure racers -- for consumers? I guess the question is whether the prominence of 2015 state of the art electronics prevents this from being another legendary track F car. My guess is not.
Sorry if this is a repost. F12tdf in action. Posted at youtube just 2 days ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgqz8aXNPFU
Should I buy one?: If any of that sounds down on the F12tdf, its not meant to; there is loads to love here. The cabin, the noise, the performance, the responses right up to the limit are all exceptional. Its just unusual at times, and, given that its meant to be challenging and that an owner will have at least five other Ferraris to choose from (let alone other cars), depth and unusualness are characteristics the F12tdf can easily afford to have.
The words above were cut and pasted from the magazine article. Do you think the comment on an owner having five cars has any special meaning?
I wish the mods would combine these TDF threads. Top Gear Review: First drive: Ferrari's new F12tdf, the 770bhp hyper-V12 | Top Gear Seems to confirm the rawness and edginess.

I think I prefer an exterior color that creates more contrast to the carbon fiber on the tdf. I also don't think the livery stripe looks the best for the tdf....thoughts?
If going red then I would go Rossa Maranello as it is stunning on the F12 and not too dark to impact contrast with the CF but that's just me.
i wonder what chalstrad's car would be like. maybe the carbon part will be painted pearl white? i personally would like a darker color if i have the chance to get one, but triple yellow is definitely pretty.
I was at the factory last week. Really amazing to see TDF in differents shades. All of them was incredible. It s the symbol of a real great design. Nero Daytona was also good ! i ve seen a grigio ferro with yellow calipers ; one word : breathless !!! On the tailor made screen program, many cars was near to perfection...
Official TDF video from Ferrari!: Ferrari multimedia : videos, photos, apps - Ferrari Official Sorry didn't know where to post, since there are multiple threads.
Been endlessly asking the mods to combine. Thanks for posting and as I said elsewhere, the Test drivers don't appear to have much problem with it. Looked and sounded sublime, albeit you would expect it to do so with a manufacturers video.
I guess it's a nice problem to have but right now I'm all over the place in terms of spec. For some reason I'm finding it challenging to nail it. I have my Plan A scheme but the videos from the weekend, and the many excellent ideas here is making me bounce from one idea to another. I've not had this problem before on a model, but the TDF design is complex. Not helped by the truly awful UK dealer level configurator which is close to useless. In fairness my dealer is suggesting I go out again to the factory again, this time for Tailor Made. However they've said I will need to guarantee a spend in excess of 50K GBP on options to access Tailor Made, not to mention the time to travel out. If only they had a half decent configurator. Bizarre given the premium nature of the car.
TdF or Pozzi no stripe. Then I want first refusal if if you ever decide to sell and I do not get a future allocation !!!!
