That car is really interesting and hasn't been discussed enough here. It's more than Tailor Made IMO, it's what I call a "Semi-one off". More than Tailor made since the body has been altered, which is something Ferrari never does under regular order. So since the body is altered it's a one-off. But one cannot compare those redesigned front bumper to the real one off , which made the original car impossible to recognize., with a whole new body and custom made panels, wheels, etc So I call it a "Semi-one off" (You clearly see that's a Tdf - You don't say "What is that Ferrari, I've never seen it before, like you say when you see a real one-off for the first time) There is a matching Lusso, with the same bumper and in the same color.
This is the Lusso @dcmetro is referring to. It’s finished in Blu Pozzi and has a similar front bumper. The most unique part is the bonnet vent, also done by Zanasi. Picture taken by @TFJJ on instagram Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are the headlights in the grill a tribute to F-cars of old? They sure look better than the ADAS gadgets in the latest cars! T
Such an amazing car! Really special and i always liked it. However it is a little bit strange that, despite the fact that the specific TdF has a load of special parts, TM interior etc, i wonder if there was available back then the then new racing inspired seats. Except the fact that only two cars (Giallo Modena & Blu Pozzi) had them, IMHO i believe that it would be a great detail for the car.
Completely agreed. I've seen them on a third car but can't remember where. Chaussurecowboy, the owner of the pozzi car said that the Ferrari staff didn't even see what he was talking about , he had to show them a picture !! Incredible.

Those seats are awesome! The TDF owned by @thearocollection on instagram has also the rare carbon monocoque seats. A factory option that cost a small car! Picture taken by @thearocollection Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks a lot , that's the 3rd car I was referring to. This is definitely the ultimate feature on a Tdf like the Antiroll bar on the 599 GTO that I adore, and which is also ultra rare... it helps distinguishing the tdf from the F12 since the standard tdf seats are also available for the F12. I do believe Ferrari had a supply problem with them and stopped very early to advertise or suggest them Did you know were available on the 812 superfast (According to a PDF option list I that was published here) Those are the same seats in the SP1/SP2
This is rather unfortunate. I am quite sure that I am not the only one that used to love reading your detailed inputs and stories here on Fchat. I still have hope that you will return and continue sharing your passion with us.
