Aluminio Opaco?
A Grigio Scuro F12tdf made cameo in Hollywood movie "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One." In the scene (filmed in Rome) protagonist Ethan Hunt (played by Tom Cruise) is running w/female counterpart toward "Safe Car" stashed by his covert team, guided by map on his smartphone. Arriving at the car, he initially thinks it's the F12tdf, only to learn it's ACTUALLY the little yellow Fiat parked next to it. The car in their photos incorrectly wears Italian plates FE000PP, has yellow shields, and yellow brakes -- but the movie car wears Italian plates FD799BJ and has carbon fiber shields, and black brakes. https://exclusivecarregistry.com/details/ferrari/f12/22268 Whereas, Internet Movie Cars Database identifies the car as VIN ZFF81BHB000216940, wearing correct Italian plates, and shows photo of correct carbon fiber shields and black brakes. https://www.imcdb.org/v001655035.html
I do believe the car pictured in the movie is this one, an Italian registred Grigio medio Tdf It has blue calipers that I almost recognize on the pictures Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes and it appears that both the movie car and Grigio Medio car you ID'd have "dry" (non-gloss) CF fiber exterior pieces. But the very clear identifying mark is the little white oval sticker on upper corner of driver's-side windshield. So I think you're 100% correct.
This prototype looks simply fabulous to me. It's a combination of the best design feature of both the F12 Berlinetta and the F12 tdf. I's black but almost look dark green on the pics, wich is even better IMO Caption and picture found on Dupont Registry "Ferrari F12 TDF Prototype MP4. This car is finished in Black over a Black leather and carbon fiber interior. This 2014 Ferrari F12TDF Prototype MP4 was among those used by Ferrari in the development of the track-focused F12TDF leading up to its October 2015 release. This prototype represents one of the finest milestones of the project and stands as a unique, evolutionary example of Ferrari's model development process, offering an insight into the incredible engineering efforts that take a new Ferrari from concept to reality. The black interior is from the standard F12 with leather seats, plus carbon fiber accents on the dash and door panels." I have a picture of what i believe to be the only F12tdf in my country. The car was out on display a few years ago at a motoring festival hosted by the owners' company. It has absolutely no press attention besides an indonesian (not where i'm from) news website where a photo of it is used as a banner and a single instagram post of which it was photographed in that very companies' facilities again on display. I don't know the owner personally so i can't ask for permission, would it be rude to post the picture i took here with the plates blurred off? It's not like he hides it, but i'm new to this stuff.
