What do you guys think- is this really the new Blu America color? http://medicalconferencehotels.com/?attachment_id=75 Then have a look at how it's displayed on the configurator: I know the configurator colors can be a little off- look at TDF for example- but it seems to me the color in those pics is a lot closer to TDF than the light blue that they seem to be going for....
Thanks- wow, thats quite a variation between the pics and the configurator. For some reason I cant post the links or get attachments to upload. Its a nice color- how would you say it compares to TDF? Heres a link to how it looks in the configurator: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://static.blogo.it/autoblog/configuratoreFerrariFF.JPG&imgrefurl=http://car-express-news.blogspot.com/2011/03/ferrari-ff-online-configurator.html&usg=__pQ3zoFPtEgdWGIlJORFYz-j7U1s=&h=427&w=586&sz=32&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=NB7y9knVzltAZM:&tbnh=139&tbnw=189&ei=1-3LTffvOueV0QG_xa3SBg&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dferrari%2Bff%2Bblu%2Bamerica%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Den%26biw%3D1640%26bih%3D1385%26tbm%3Disch&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=287&page=1&ndsp=58&ved=1t:429,r:12,s:0&tx=119&ty=42

Nicolas thanks for sharing with us yet another of your road trips to Maranello! As always, wonderful images!!! CH
Fantastic pictures once again Nicholas. The FF is quite a machine I must say. I'm even starting to like the back of the car in a few days I might say I like it in red Grigio FF or Grigio silverstone does the trick for me.
Your base is way off....don't know where u got that from.... the last 612 base was $320,000...you think Ferrari is going to re-design it and add an all new 4wd system for $285k? according to a quote from NYT. "So, brace yourself: Ferrari is making a hatchback. Mind you, this is no ordinary hatchback. With a cobra-like front end and a 660-horsepower engine, it starts at 260,000 euros ($370,000)." So...add some suede...some Power Daytonas.....some gunmetal wheels....and this and thats...... and some carbon fiber here and there...gas guzzler tax etc....and hello...you are over $400k on this thing... not so in love anymore?
So, did you go to Maranello for the FF introduction like Cariad, or are you quoting numbers from a newspaper that knows nothing about cars? Do you have an order in place for an FF like Cariad does? Your credibility sucks compared to his. Taz Terry Phillips
we'll see....woops ....here's another one ....but what does Bloomberg know....?? right?? www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-02-28/ferrari-targets-families-in-fast-lane-with-359-000-ff-supercar.html
Well we will all put this issue to rest in a couple of weeks when Ferrari NA announce the MSRP. An other thread of mine has outlined Ferrari S.p.a product pricing strategy for the FF and 599 successor. In essence reversing pricing points between the 2+2 and the 599 successor with a highish 300's base for the 599 successor, nicely equipped $425k. Will date GTO's in every way (oops!) and cheaper !
He did not use an exchange rate. All he did was take your $370K and multiply it by 0.80, which is $296K. All you are showing is you do not understand how this process and pricing work. US prices closely match European tax free prices. Nearly all car prices quoted in Europe include a VAT of ~20% (Germany 19%, UK 20%, France 19.6%, Denmark 25%, etc) US prices include hedging for exchange rates, currently high for the Euro, but with more bail-outs, who knows? Hi all, This afternoon, I returned from a wonderful and sunny 4-day trip to Maranello & the Mille Miglia. I saw many FF´s in lots of different colours and will start a seperate thread in the showroom section tomorrow to post a lot of pics. As a little appetizer, this FF drove by in Maranello just before the arrival of the Tribute to the MM and the Mille Miglia itself: Ciao, Lars T. Terrie.....are you purchasing one of these??? You are taking this awfully personal and jumping to conclusions. When the pricing is released you will see what I'm talking about....do you really believe an FF will start where a nicely equipped 458 ends? On a side note....this is most likely going to be one of the fastest depreciating vehicles Ferrari has come up with.....jmho
