Yes I believe this is the same LaFerrari. The license plate even tilts to the left just like in the earlier pictures. On cars like the Speciale for example it would be a disadvantage to mount the license plate over the air inlet in the middle of the front grill and hide the chrome horse to! So typically on Ferrari cars the plate is mounted off to the side of the front grill for not just visual reasons. Regarding the placement of the front plate; the Ontario Canada government offered in the past in place of the metal license plate a full size replica license plate sticker to mount on the top edge of the front of the car but few people chose that option. Not sure if the vinyl sticker is still available.
The 'less is more' idea plays better. Doing the front luggage cover and the mirrors is a bit much. I like the front spoiler edge and rocker panel stripe idea plus the rear fender panel split that rises beyond the rear tires.
I personally find these painted lines disrupting the original lines of the car. I don't think laferrari needs any of these to be honest, and feel bad that the aperta version comes with them...this one is definitely one of the worst out there, maybe slightly more acceptable than that blue one with yellow line and chrome wheels. By the way I am curious how all your lafe lovers feel about the car now 5 years after its initial launch. I think the design has proven itself to be ahead of its time. I initially didn't like everything I saw but had warmed up to it pretty quickly. Definitely the most desirable modern ferrari imo, and it is still looking prettier than most of the so called hypercar made within the last few years, and I am still looking for good pictures of it all over the internet these days. There are also a few specs(other than the usual red/black) that I think had really nailed the color schemes/ liveries except with some room for minor improvement over at certain details. They are rare though. But even with the ugliest spec I can still appreciate the form of this car.
A rather brazen spec that can't compare with a nice grigio ferro with silver wheels... Image Unavailable, Please Login
t this white color is actually a warp. it's the australian laferrari with nero color and red bonnet stripe

The carbon shields and caps are nice but what happened to the paint finish; they forgot to buff it out...
