As an expert of nothing and nothing of an expert I hereby officially designate October 31st of every year Ferrari Protective Services Day. It is now officially unofficial and we need someone of great importance in the community to second it!

We’re all honorary members of the FPS and it is up to each one of us to identify and report violations.

    My personal list…
    • Replica Ferraris
    • Recreation Ferraris using a perfectly good Ferrari
    • Putting a Ferrari sticker on a non-Ferrari (club stickers OK)
    • Parting out a perfectly good or easily repaired Ferrari
    • not driving a Ferrari at least once a month (preferable once a week)
    • keeping the windows down or top off in rain storm
    • not changing oil once a year or every 5k miles.
    • not changing belts when due.
    • street racing
    • not driving on a track

It is also perfectly acceptable to have voodoo dolls and stick them on FPS day, they should have common names not identifiable with a real person. :D

Thirded, (if you need it)....all in favor, say "Aye"

Wait a minute, my window STUCK down, once......and let rain in, but after a few years, we fixed it!!!!
    It's fine, now.

Stuck "up", now that I think about it.....

Are we then to stop an F1 race when it starts raining? And I can't drive my 166 Touwing barchetta original, of course) in the rain anymore?

I don't know, I saw a silver 250 GTO recreation, using all Ferrari parts by an owner of an actual
250 that was gorgeous and indistingquishable from the original, that I wouldn't mind having.

yes, because "indistingquishable from the original" is OK when you are trying to be fake for $200k instead of $25 M. :D

    LOL!

I pointed that out to the new COTA ops staff...they needed the track logo on ponchos, like the Indianapolis Track does it....

I know, I know, but still sweet. Wouldn't kick it out of the garage. Same with fake boobies,
not real but look and work just fine.

    I would also include:
Everyone who wears a piece of Ferrari clothing and doesn't own one= POSURE
Everyone who wears a piece of Ferrari clothing and who DOES own one= show off POSURE

All those "re-creation" Euro cars made out of USA cars. What total ****** bags to ruin a USA car and make it into something it's not like a Euro "replica".

Also, all of those GTSi cars that had the roof spoilers put on and headlight louvers painted black so they could make them look like a "re-creation" Quatro Valve= Pousers!!! Now, a previous owner did this to my car, so it he the heathen or am I for owning it??? I must be....

I totally get the Ferrari sticker on anything other than a Ferrari... I mean, I'm sure when Ferrari licensed them to be sold the sole intention was to put them on Ferrari's. What else would they want you to do with them.

I'm gonna go tease my 3 year old son now.... He has a crappy replica Ferrari pedal car, (with a sticker on it no less!!!!!) What a posure...

    :)
